Ejercicio 1

Dificultad: Básico

Verificar que la multiplicación de matrices no es conmutativa usando:

M=(2103)M = \begin{pmatrix} 2 & 1 \\ 0 & 3 \end{pmatrix}, N=(1−121)N = \begin{pmatrix} 1 & -1 \\ 2 & 1 \end{pmatrix}

Calcular MNMN y NMNM, y demostrar que MN≠NMMN \neq NM

Ver solución paso a paso4 pasos
  1. Paso 1
    Cálculo de MNMN

    MN=(2⋅1+1⋅22⋅(−1)+1⋅10⋅1+3⋅20⋅(−1)+3⋅1)=(4−163)MN = \begin{pmatrix} 2 \cdot 1 + 1 \cdot 2 & 2 \cdot (-1) + 1 \cdot 1 \\ 0 \cdot 1 + 3 \cdot 2 & 0 \cdot (-1) + 3 \cdot 1 \end{pmatrix} = \begin{pmatrix} 4 & -1 \\ 6 & 3 \end{pmatrix}

  2. Paso 2
    Cálculo de NMNM

    NM=(1⋅2+(−1)⋅01⋅1+(−1)⋅32⋅2+1⋅02⋅1+1⋅3)=(2−245)NM = \begin{pmatrix} 1 \cdot 2 + (-1) \cdot 0 & 1 \cdot 1 + (-1) \cdot 3 \\ 2 \cdot 2 + 1 \cdot 0 & 2 \cdot 1 + 1 \cdot 3 \end{pmatrix} = \begin{pmatrix} 2 & -2 \\ 4 & 5 \end{pmatrix}

  3. Paso 3
    Comparación

    MN=(4−163)≠(2−245)=NMMN = \begin{pmatrix} 4 & -1 \\ 6 & 3 \end{pmatrix} \neq \begin{pmatrix} 2 & -2 \\ 4 & 5 \end{pmatrix} = NM

  4. Paso 4
    Conclusión

    La diferencia en múltiples elementos confirma que MN≠NMMN \neq NM, demostrando la no conmutatividad del producto matricial.

Ejercicio 2

Dificultad: Intermedio

Demostrar las propiedades distributivas del producto matricial con:

A=(1231)A = \begin{pmatrix} 1 & 2 \\ 3 & 1 \end{pmatrix}, B=(2013)B = \begin{pmatrix} 2 & 0 \\ 1 & 3 \end{pmatrix}, C=(1−122)C = \begin{pmatrix} 1 & -1 \\ 2 & 2 \end{pmatrix}

Verificar que:

a) A(B+C)=AB+ACA(B + C) = AB + AC

b) (A+B)C=AC+BC(A + B)C = AC + BC

Ver solución paso a paso4 pasos
  1. Paso 1
    Verificación de A(B+C)=AB+ACA(B + C) = AB + AC

    Primero: B+C=(3−135)B + C = \begin{pmatrix} 3 & -1 \\ 3 & 5 \end{pmatrix}

    A(B+C)=(1231)(3−135)=(99122)A(B + C) = \begin{pmatrix} 1 & 2 \\ 3 & 1 \end{pmatrix} \begin{pmatrix} 3 & -1 \\ 3 & 5 \end{pmatrix} = \begin{pmatrix} 9 & 9 \\ 12 & 2 \end{pmatrix}

  2. Paso 2
    Cálculo de AB+ACAB + AC

    AB=(4673)AB = \begin{pmatrix} 4 & 6 \\ 7 & 3 \end{pmatrix}, AC=(535−1)AC = \begin{pmatrix} 5 & 3 \\ 5 & -1 \end{pmatrix}

    AB+AC=(99122)AB + AC = \begin{pmatrix} 9 & 9 \\ 12 & 2 \end{pmatrix} ✓

  3. Paso 3
    Verificación de (A+B)C=AC+BC(A + B)C = AC + BC

    A+B=(3244)A + B = \begin{pmatrix} 3 & 2 \\ 4 & 4 \end{pmatrix}

    (A+B)C=(71124)(A + B)C = \begin{pmatrix} 7 & 1 \\ 12 & 4 \end{pmatrix}

  4. Paso 4
    Cálculo de AC+BCAC + BC

    BC=(2−275)BC = \begin{pmatrix} 2 & -2 \\ 7 & 5 \end{pmatrix}

    AC+BC=(535−1)+(2−275)=(71124)AC + BC = \begin{pmatrix} 5 & 3 \\ 5 & -1 \end{pmatrix} + \begin{pmatrix} 2 & -2 \\ 7 & 5 \end{pmatrix} = \begin{pmatrix} 7 & 1 \\ 12 & 4 \end{pmatrix} ✓

Verificar que:

a) AI=AAI = A

  4. Paso 4
    Propiedades verificadas
    • A0=IA^0 = I por definición
    • A1=AA^1 = A
    • A2A^2 calculada arriba
    • II actúa como elemento neutro multiplicativo

Ejercicio 4

Dificultad: Experto

Analizar el comportamiento de matrices especiales en un sistema de control industrial. Una planta tiene una matriz de estado S=(0.80.200.10.70.200.30.5)S = \begin{pmatrix} 0.8 & 0.2 & 0 \\ 0.1 & 0.7 & 0.2 \\ 0 & 0.3 & 0.5 \end{pmatrix} y matriz de control U=(1000.90.10)U = \begin{pmatrix} 1 & 0 \\ 0 & 0.9 \\ 0.1 & 0 \end{pmatrix}.

Investigar:

a) S2S^2 y S3S^3

b) Comportamiento a largo plazo

c) Efecto del control

Ver solución paso a paso4 pasos
  1. Paso 1
    Cálculo de S2S^2

    S2=(0.660.300.040.150.570.240.030.360.31)S^2 = \begin{pmatrix} 0.66 & 0.30 & 0.04 \\ 0.15 & 0.57 & 0.24 \\ 0.03 & 0.36 & 0.31 \end{pmatrix}

  2. Paso 2
    Cálculo de S3S^3

    S3=S⋅S2=(0.5580.3540.0800.1770.5010.2340.0600.3510.227)S^3 = S \cdot S^2 = \begin{pmatrix} 0.558 & 0.354 & 0.080 \\ 0.177 & 0.501 & 0.234 \\ 0.060 & 0.351 & 0.227 \end{pmatrix}

  3. Paso 3
    Análisis del comportamiento
    • Las filas 1 y 2 de SS suman 1, pero la fila 3 suma 0.3+0.5=0.80.3 + 0.5 = 0.8: SS no es estocástica (en el estado 3 se pierde un 20% en cada paso)
    • Por eso las sumas por filas de las potencias disminuyen: en S2S^2 son 11, 0.960.96 y 0.700.70; en S3S^3, 0.9920.992, 0.9120.912 y 0.6380.638
    • A largo plazo Sn→0S^n \to 0: sin entrada de control, el sistema tiende al estado nulo (se justificará con los valores propios de SS, todos de módulo menor que 1)
  4. Paso 4
    Efecto del control mediante SUSU

    SU=(0.80.180.120.630.050.27)SU = \begin{pmatrix} 0.8 & 0.18 \\ 0.12 & 0.63 \\ 0.05 & 0.27 \end{pmatrix}

    La matriz de control modifica la dinámica del sistema, permitiendo ajustar las transiciones entre estados.
